Your name and colour on your notes, the app's colours, and what ReviewDeck counts. Settings is the cog at the top right.
Your name and colour #
Everyone sees your notes under your name, in your colour.
- Click the cog at the top right to open Settings, and choose Profile.
- Type your name under Name and colour.
- Pick a colour.
Your new name shows at once in the open library's People list and on your uploads, and in other libraries the next time you open them. Everyone else sees it, on your notes too, within about a minute.
Colour themes #
The app comes in eight colour themes.
- Open Settings. Theme is under Profile.
- Click a theme. The app changes at once, and keeps it.
- Close Settings.
The themes are Dusty Pink, Steel Blue, Forest Green, Violet, Amber, Teal, Indigo and Monochrome. What you send from a library without a brand uses your theme's colours. In a library with a brand, the app wears the brand, unless the studio allows people their own theme and you turn on Use my own theme.
Usage counts #
ReviewDeck counts how often its features are used, to learn what to work on. It counts, and that is all: event names and numbers, plus the app's version and whether it runs on Windows or a Mac. Never file names, note text, media or anything that identifies you.
- Open Settings and choose About.
- Under Privacy & usage, turn off Send anonymous usage counts.
A notice says so the first time you open the app. People you send reviews to are never counted.
